About UCOR
Mission Statement
The Union of Charitable Organisations of Russia was established to bolster up charity in the Russian Federation and prepare fertile land for waging charitable campaigns.
Goals
- to pool up efforts of UCOR members to achieve better results from their charitable actions;
- to provide comprehensive support to UCOR members (in legal, informational, financial, pecuniary and other domains);
- to represent UCOR members and protect their interests in contacts with federal, regional and local authorities.
UCOR Objectives
To achieve the goals above, UCOR has set the following objectives:
- to make proposals to be included into draft legal acts on charitable activities, and submit them to federal and regional authorities for consideration;
- to pool the efforts of charitable organisations, benefactors and volunteers in Russia and abroad;
- to facilitate the exchange of experience among charitable organisations in Russia and abroad;
- to strengthen UCOR members' links with international and foreign charity organisations, and represent their interests in contacts with them;
- to render legal, informational, financial or other pecuniary assistance and support to all members of the Union, other charity funds, organisations, benefactors, volunteers and beneficiaries in Russia and abroad;
- to protect and represent UCOR members' interests in contacts with federal, regional and local authorities;
- to promote UCOR members' interaction with NGOs, commercial and not-for-profit organisations in Russia and abroad, as well as with Russian communities in ex-Soviet republics and other foreign countries.
